Metanoia Communications Inc. is a communication IC design company focusing on 5G RF and Digital Front End (DFE) chipset. The products are mainly used in the fast-growing 5G O-RAN market. The main shareholders are Elan , NDF(National Development Fund) and Taiwania Capital. We have bases in the United States and Taiwan. The company has been working on digital signal processor (DSP) and communication technology development for more than 20 years. SDR-Based Implementation of an Integrated Communication and Sensing System

This project is centered on an SDR development platform, integrating mobile communication, sensing systems, and open network architecture to guide students in cross-layer system integration practices. By combining 5G/O-RAN architecture, sensing data acquisition, and edge computing, the project aims to build a practical end-to-end (E2E) integrated communication and sensing system. It is designed to equip students with hands-on capabilities in communication system integration, sensing data transmission, and performance validation.

Integrated AI-RAN End-to-End Testing Project

This project aims to integrate a 5G Open RAN RU single-chip SoC with open-source 5G software (OAI L2 and NVIDIA Ariel RAN) to achieve end-to-end (E2E) communication.
